ARPIEM's new TSR! watch takes us back to the golden age of endurance racing, "The WORLD SPORTSCAR CHAMPIONSHIP! "This championship ran from 1953 to 1992. At the time, it was the WEC of today.

The WORLD SPORTSCAR CHAMPIONSHIP had its heyday.

  • The '70s saw a duel between Ford, Porsche and Ferrari. The year 1966 inspired the film "Le Mans 66" starring Matt Damon.
  • The 80s, with legendary Group C cars from Mercedes, Lancia, Porsche, Jaguar...

On the watch, index 18 corresponds to the number of titles won in this championship by Porsche and index 32 highlights the record number of victories won by Jacky Ickx.

DESCRIPTION

The ARPIEM Tribute is designed with a 316L stainless steel case and a water resistance of 10ATM (100 meters). The jewel's dial is composed of two subdials inspired by the pressure gauges of vintage 60s automobiles, while the indexes on the main dial represent the graduations of the rev counter. The main hands are photoluminescent thanks to the application of SUPERLUMINOVA BGW 9. The watch is equipped with the Swiss RONDA Z50 movement. The watch is designed with Saphir Bombe quality Cristal glass. It represents the highest quality glass available on the market. Scratchable by diamond only, it enhances the vintage look of the jewel with its domed finish.

This watch is designed to bring back the finest hours of motoring for the most passionate among you. The Triple Layer dial gives the watch an elegant appearance, recalling the"Sandwich" alloy construction of racing car chassis before the advent of carbon. The tachymeter, meanwhile, has been revisited. Normally, the hour markers are arranged irregularly on the crown. On the ARPIEM watch, they are positioned in the manner of diving watches.
